I could have sworn I posted this last week ------
Summer is coming up fast! Lance has forty-five flats of plants growing in the basement nursery. He's very anxious for the danger of frost to be over so the plants can be put in the ground!
The house next to us has finally sold after being empty for about two years. We think it might be preferable to have it empty - a man from Colorado bought it for his 23 year old, snow-boarder daughter. Last weekend she had a big party (complete with a live band ) - the neighbors finally had to call the police to get them quieted down. (We were at a party at Duff's and missed the whole thing)
The empty lot next to us still hasn't sold, we would like to buy it but not for the $54,000 they are asking for. We've had flower and vegetable gardens in the lot for several years but this year we will probably cut back and move a lot of the plants to our own backyard.
Tours are picking up for Glenn but he's still looking for a new job. He probably needs to go back to school and get a degree in something he can actually earn money with.
Our house is finally a home! After living here for six years we finally got the piano! Lance wasn't too excited about it but he's getting used to it. Thank-you very much to Eric, Casey, Kelly, Jared, Fred, Sam and Denice who helped get it safely transported all the way to our living room!
Finally, thanks to everyone who helped with Mom's/Grandma's yard clean-up! The place looks great! Click below to see the pictures, then click "slideshow" - you don't need to sign in.
