Lance told me that I was middle-aged when I turned forty, but I didn't feel it. Now I do! Today I got my first artificial body part - a crown! It's not much, but it's still enough to make me realize I'm starting to fall apart. And it's not just the body that's going- I just washed a load of laundry and realized I forgot to put detergent in. (How important is soap to clean laundry anyway?) Oh, well - Jane forgets to put bananas in her banana bread :)

She also forgets the cheese in the grilled cheese sandwiches... but that's one of the reasons we love her SO much!
Glenn...I have 4 or 5 crowns & I need 2 or 3 more...what age does that make me?!??!
How can you be middle age when you're only turning 29 this fall?
hahaha! And cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich.
You're 40??!? When did that happen? I thought you were still like 37.
You are royal now. You've got a crown. Look at the bright side! :)
ohhh, actually I'll be turning 41 this year :(
You're only 4 years older than me?!?! :)
Yes, Jeni! I'm sure I'm only four years older than you. But with all those crowns in your mouth YOUR'RE probably really closer to 54!
And cinnamon in 80 cinnamon rolls for the PTA appreciation brunch. And sugar in the cake. But it kinda works to swirl it around on the top. You are not middle age because you have a stupid little crown. It happens when you start noticing little old age bumps appearing. What is up with that? I don't get it. I just want to have normal skin. That's my gripe of this year!
Love, Jane
And WHEN did I forget the bananas in banana bread? Are you sure that was me? JTM
